This is our one kava. It comes from Kadavu, Fiji, where our mother's family is from, and it is 100% noble and single origin.

It's smooth and earthy, and it's prepared the traditional way. Share it at a gathering, keep a family tradition going, or try kava for the first time.

How to prepare

Put 2 to 4 tablespoons of kava powder in a strainer bag and place it in a bowl with 2 to 3 cups of cold or lukewarm water. Never use hot water, because heat can degrade the kavalactones. Knead the bag in the water for 5 to 10 minutes, then strain and serve.

Kava has a relaxing effect. Take it slowly, and don't drive or operate machinery after a session.
