Colocolo Gold is our proudly crafted signature kava, sourced directly from the rich volcanic soil of Taveuni Island in Fiji. Known as the Garden Island, Taveuni is famous for its lush rainforests and natural beauty. Our kava is grown right beside the stunning Bouma waterfalls, where the air is fresh, the water is pure, and the land is full of life. This peaceful and fertile environment plays a big role in creating the smooth and calming experience that Colocolo Gold is known for.

This kava is a carefully selected mix of both lawena and waka roots, grown for around two to three years to ensure the perfect balance of taste and potency. After harvest, the roots are traditionally hand-pounded and sun-dried for two to three weeks before the final grinding process. This slow and natural preparation method helps preserve the kava’s deep character and brings out its rich earthy flavour and smooth creamy finish.
